talking to us. We offer a range of support from which you
can select to meet your specific needs. This includes:
• business start up Seminars which will help you decide if
self employment is for you; outline the different sources
of business ideas; discuss the nature & importance of business
planning, & outline the help available.
• individual discussion to help you in the research, planning
& evaluation of your business idea.
• guidance on college or on-line based information & learning
opportunities.
• business skills training, ranging from market research to
book-keeping available according to need & circumstance.
• help to identify & raise the necessary finance.
• guidance on the formal steps to take when starting up
These services are impartial, confidential & there is no charge for such services in the West Lindsey area due to 3rd party financial support.
Running
an existing business?
If you have problems with or opportunites
to develop your existing business, then we offer to meet with
you (preferably at your business base) & establish if/how
we can help. That meeting would be free of charge for businesses based in West Lindsey due to subsidies
from our Sponsors.
If further meetings are required to help progress matters
to an appropriate conclusion, a fee would be charged at a
level according to the subsidy we can obtain for such work.
Such fees would be clearly stated in advance of any meetings.
The same terms apply if you want advice on specific aspects
of running your business.
If we are unable to help directly, we can usually identify
someone else who can.
Want to improve your business
performance & profit?
This is often the result of our service to help you improve
your understanding & control of business finance. We can do
this by your attendance at one of our Seminars or individually
by helping you to do a financial appraisal of your business.
Some people have done both.
Our charges for either alternative is normally £350 +VAT.
Primary & Secondary Schools
We work with Head Teachers, their teaching staff & curriculum support workers, acting as a catalyst to help encourage enterprise thinking & activity within the school curriculum. Funding from Lincolnshire County Council enables this work to be offered at no cost to West Lindsey Schools for Key Stages 2 & 3 pupils.
